Privacy Policy

The short version

Sayzu keeps everything you write on your device. We cannot read your thoughts, your people, or your occasions, because they are never sent to us. There are no accounts, no sync, no analytics, and no tracking, in the app or on this website.

What Sayzu stores

The thoughts you capture, the people and occasions you attach them to, and your settings are stored in a local database on your phone or tablet. They stay there. Deleting the app deletes them. If you use an encrypted device backup, your data is included in that backup under Apple's or Google's protections, not ours.

Notifications

Nudges are local notifications scheduled on your device by the app. No notification content passes through our servers, because we do not have servers.

Siri

If you capture a thought with Siri, Apple processes your speech under Apple's own privacy terms and hands the text to Sayzu on your device. It is stored locally like anything else you capture.

Purchases

Buying Sayzu is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We never see your name, email address or payment details.
